Established in 2022, True North Home Care was birthed out of a long-held desire to care for seniors the way I truly wanted.
 
For over 13 years I had the privilege of working as a nurse in small Retirement Home. While I loved my job and those I cared for, I had become increasingly discouraged with the system that I was working within - a system that often was unable to fully meet the needs of my Residents. They wanted something better - and I wanted something better for them too. So when I finally decided to make the move "up north", I also decided to step away from nursing for the time being and pursue a more holistic approach to caring for others.
 
While I'm a fairly new transplant to the Parry Sound area, my love for it's wild beauty goes back to my childhood when my family first camped at Killbear Provincial Park. Over the years, I have made numerous visits to this area, which only further increased my love for it. Since moving here full time in 2021, I have met so many wonderful people, and am incredibly thankful to be able to care for others in my new community.
